Producer/editor, Philadelphia Eagles/NFL Network/ESPN College Football

My Greatest Accomplishment: Since graduation, I’ve made the most of the freelance production industry and have maintained a strong imprint across a variety of sports media platforms — particularly in the sport of football. In the past six years, I’ve traveled with ESPN College Football each weekend producing and applying graphics on game broadcasts. I was able to acquire my first National Sports Emmy as a member of the production team for the College Football Championship Megacast. Working with NFL Network and NFL Films as a researcher and producer, I’ve attended the past several NFL scouting combines and NFL drafts. As a member of the media department for the Philadelphia Eagles, I serve as an associate producer and editor for the show Eagles Game Plan and proudly display my Super Bowl 52 ring on my desk. Participating in the team’s parade through the city was certainly a moment I’ll never forget. I’ve also had experiences working with the NFL on CBS, NBC Sports and The Athletic.

How Drexel Helped: Drexel’s co-op program was the launching pad into the professional sector. I was able to acquire experience through internships with the Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, and then finally NFL Films, where I started my journey into the world of football production. Since my internship with NFL Films in spring 2008, I’ve grown passionate about the operations and coverage of the sport of football. As the late president of NFL Films Steve Sabol said, “Life is great, football is better.”

Where I’ll Be in Five Years: I hope to continue to add new experiences and sharpen my skills in the sports production realm. I jumped at the chance to work on the British Open Golf Championship broadcast with NBC Sports at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland last July. With strong networking and a flexible schedule, opportunities can you take all over the world in this industry.

“If I live to be 100, the change I’d most like to see in the world is…
progress toward coexistence and acceptance of differing philosophies and beliefs.”
