Lead ATLO engineer, Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company (El Segundo, California)

My Greatest Accomplishment: So far it has been working on multiple satellites that are now flying in space as a Lead ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) engineer. I never imagined I would be able to touch something and then send it with my name into space. On top of all of that, I’ve also been able to work mission operations and talk to the satellites I’ve worked on which has really been the icing on the cake.

How Drexel Helped Me: Drexel gave me the opportunity to discover what I want to do. The chance to try different concentrations and work multiple co-ops is what sets Drexel apart and what helped me get to where I am today.

My Greatest Source of Motivation: My father, Yury. He’s always been a huge inspiration to me and has always strived to do the best for our family. He always stood by me no matter what I was going through and what mistakes I made (and there were lots).

Where I Hope to Be in Five Years: In five years I’m hoping to be a program manager running my own satellite program. I’m enjoying managing a team to build and test the satellites we’re working on, but I’m looking forward to stepping into an overall larger leadership role.
