My Greatest Accomplishment: In June 2019 my company completed the first-ever test of a completely unmanned vehicle on a public road. We’re making trucks autonomous on the long stretches of highway, with remote driver input during the challenging parts of the trip at the beginning and end. Despite more than $80 billion invested in self-driving technology, my plucky and hard-working Drexel grad team beat the autonomous vehicle industry to a massive accomplishment.
How Drexel Helped: I learned about the problem Starsky solves — a shortage drivers willing to sign on for long-haul trucking — in my first co-op, and I learned that I wanted to work in startups during my third. I would not be where I am today were it not for Drexel co-ops.
Where I’ll Be in Five Years: Continuing to lead the best team in the automated vehicle industry to reach ever higher heights. And, hopefully, living in the Northeast again.
“If I live to be 100, the change I’d most like to see in the world is…
cutting-edge tech move into the broader economy — some are currently making a lucrative impact in select early adopter industries that will be life changing as they hit major laggard industries.”
