My Greatest Accomplishment:

I believe that one key to success is the support of a strong community. One of my greatest accomplishments is that I have built strong communities at the different stops I have taken in life’s journey so far. From my classroom to organizations that I have had a hand in building, to my family, I have been blessed with supportive relationships that I am proud to continue growing and nurturing.

How Drexel Helped Me:

I entered Drexel at an inflection point in my career. I had a vision of how I could use data to impact the world but needed to grow my technical skillset to put that vision into action. Drexel provided those skills via the Master’s in Business Analytics program and gave me the tools that I needed to begin building that vision. Since then, I have stayed involved with MSBA programs, which has given me the chance to give back to an organization that has done so much for me while continuing to build my personal and professional network.

Where I Hope to Be in Five Years:

I believe that we can use data more effectively to serve our communities. In five years, I will continue to grow that mission by growing the data capacity of mission-driven organizations — from governments to nonprofits. I will also be on the forefront of a revolution in how we teach students math — refocusing curricula on the need for statistical reasoning in the K-12 classroom setting.

The Change I Would Most Like to See in the World:

I want to see a world where all of our communities have their needs met. We should not have food deserts, health care deserts, or safe-housing deserts. I want to see a world where all of our communities are in thriving places that encourage healthy lifestyles and equitable opportunities.
